Animal Management Centre, Askham Bryan College, York.
Built as a centre for excellence in the field of aquarium and zoo keeper training, the College’s Animal Management Centre is now open to the public. The facility features series of ‘front-of-house’ galleries featuring a number of animal habitats and aquariums. I was responsible for all the interior and exterior graphical interpretation and species identification within public areas. The highly naturalistic, detailed exhibits were designed specifically to provide students with wide ranging experiences and maintenance challenges typical of modern aquariums and zoos.
